I've been living here about 11 months now and renewed my lease. I have been generally happy here. They did a nice job fixing up the place before moving in. I have to say I do not like living on the bottom though, I can here SO much above me!! Creaky floors, even people talking on their phones. I would recommed trying for a top apt. Anyway, we personally have had a lot of maintenance issues in our place, mostly with our AC but then the vacant apt above us had the toilet overflow and it caused our bathroom to almost flood! It was terrible b/c my roomie and I both happened to be out of town for a few days. Maintenance men are very nice and prompt, but we have had to call several times for the same issue. Also, the "gym" is a joke! Half the machines didn't work last I went...however there are some great gyms nearby in the cherry hill area. Just keep in mind these building are not all that new......OVERALL, I WOULD recommend allison to anyone. It's quiet, safe, a ton of parking (could be more lighting in the lots), a nice location, affordable, I've only seen a few bugs which you really can't avoid anywhere, but nothing crazy scary... Like I said though, try for a top apartment if you don't mind the steps.

I just have to comment that this review is right on the money. I can tell some of these reviews are "plants" and are too vague or generic to be real but you clearly have lived at Allison. Especially because of the "having to call maintenance multiple times for the same thing" and the "gym is a joke" comments. For anyone looking to live at Allison, this review is legit and fair.

I disagree with the maintenance response but agree with the gym comment. I have had a few maintenance issues but they come out right away. In all the years I have been renting. Allison has been one of my favorite apartments to live in. They are not luxurious by all means but great place to live for the money.
