Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2007
I've lived at Hunters Chase now for about a year and a half. Overall, I have been very happy with my experience. I have never found getting a hold of maintainence (sp') help to be a problem, and the office ladies have always been very friendly, especially Christina.
The biggest problem I've had has been a flood in my apartment, which happened because of an incident on the third floor. Doreen, the female electrician, helped me get things cleaned up and was very helpful. My only complaint is that the carpet independent contractor did a downright crappy job with his initial replacement of carpet padding, but it's since been repaired to my satisfaction - And, no, it wasn't difficult to have done! The HC people were friendly and accommodating throughout.
I see here that many people hold a different view. I don't live very close to the waste plant, so don't often smell it. I've always been nice to the office staff and workers, so they've always been nice to me. My windows are drafty, but the windows on a house I own are just as likely to be - those kinds of things don't mean a place is crap or run my minions of -----, as it seems some might have prospective tenants believe.
Hunters Chase isn't perfect, or an oasis paradise, but it's pretty good digs.
I always look at the parking lot when assessing a place - Here, Beemers are parked next to Corollas; this tells me that it's nice enough for those with more affluent tastes, but reasonable enough for the Everyman.
Anyway, just my opinion.
