When my room-mate and I first moved in we were told there was a pool available. A few months later we found out from the new owner that the pool hasnt been used in years and wont be fixed. Too bad because that is one of the main attractions that the lady during one of the open house weekends informed me about. As for central a/c yeah its there but dont use it, it added 100 bux onto my electric bill and didnt even cool off my apt. Save your window units for the summer you will need them. As far as the dog doo, I do have a dog and I feel like I am the only tentant who cleans up his poop. I understand that sometimes you forget a bag but come on is it really that big of a deal to go back in the apt and get one. Not all tenants care enough to keep the apt complex looking clean.
I cant say that all my neighbors are bad, I do hear them often walking up and down the stairs and I dont personally like some of their tastes in music. But it happens in apts if you dont like the noise go knock on their door. My neighbor has apologized to us in the past for her noisy dog/child.
When we have had maintaince emergencies and I have called the answering service, someone returned my call in a timely manner and my problems were resolved. As for bugs, yeah I have seen a few spiders or silver fish. All I can say is the last place I lived in had mice. I will take bugs over mice any day.
The only reason we have left this apt complex is because my room-mate and I have decided to go our seperate ways. If I could afford the rent on my own I would consider staying. This is the only place I have looked at that did not give me a hard time about my dog. If you dont like pets or seeing poop on the grounds then maybe you should move into a building that isnt listed as "pet friendly".
