This place gets a bad rap because one or two people have bedbugs.
At least the landlord sends someone to help you out, most places ignore the problem.
The apartments are upgraded with all new appliances and it's very quiet.
That person that said the cops are here all the time is crazy.
I work in Manhattan, so being able to walk to the train is great.
Plus, I can have my dog with me and the laundry room is clean.
Junior is always nice to deal with and Maria has a great sense of humor.
Obviously, someone has a major chip on their shoulder. Get a life pulleezze...

Are you kidding me???????????????? "Everyone here is professional or ederly." My advice, before you rent here -- knock on a few doors and ask people what they think about the conditions and the situation at Matawan Station. I am one of the professional people. I'd be happy to give you my honest assesment. The few professionals they were able to get in won't be renewing their leases. Enough said.

The renter above that says, I love it here, you gotta wonder which building they are living in wow, a great, positive attitude either way. I live in fear for the day I get the bed bugs as they are all over the buildings. The apartments on either side of me have them. Like a previous poster mentioned, I no longer use the laundry facilities either, it's too risky but management will tell you differently. And as an FYI - the police were out Monday night, October 6, 2008 and it wasn't a "first aid" response. Come to think of it, they were outside the day I moved in also and it wasn't for a "first aid" response either. I am living here over a year, under 2. I only wish this site was available to me be before I signed the lease. I am locked in a little while longer and then I am gone. I stumbled across this site today while looking for other places. Follow advice from a previous poster, visit the grounds without the manager, ask around and even knock on doors. There are good people stuck in bad conditions.
