Keep looking. For you its your home, for them its just an investment

What can I say, the apartments are average in their upkeep for this area, though, the appliances are old and for the rent that you are going to pay, you deserve better.
The repair crew is good and polite and usually quite prompt.
Havent had luck in getting the mgmt to replace the appliances in the middle of the lease- its only when your lease comes up for renewal that you have some bargaining power and can get them to do something.
Mgmt sucks, and sucks because of one lady, - rude, arrogant... what else can I say, the less said the better. As usual the mgmt, seems if not oh so nice, at least, polite while you are apartment hunting but once you move in, its a differnt story. BEWARE!
(Oh and I beg to differ from the earlier writer that she is polite with guys - well I dont know about other guys but, not with me.)
Something could be wrong with the heating/insulation - winter month gas bills hover around 180 bucks with the recent increase in pse&g rates. (See if you can find an apartment which has heating included...)
There is a so called fitness center but whether it is worth shoving money to use it is debatable. Hours are unsuitable specially for people working in the city. IDEA for mgmt - maybe can throw this in with the rent...
The complex seems safe - I have experienced nothing to suggest otherwise - but sometime back I read in the papers about minor burglary.
