Royal Oaks is NOT worth the rent you pay here. I can't wait to move! The rude lady in the rental office should have given us a clue, but it still seemed to be a nice place to live. Boy were we wrong...where should I begin' First of all, the place wasn't even ready for us to move in on the date we requested...we had to wait a week for them to prepare it. It still wasn't ready when we move in! There was a closet door missing, and our washer was old and broken. They tried to "fix" the washer and said it would be ok to use. I used it, and it ruined several articles of clothing. They finally replaced it after a few days. The missing closet door remained missing for about 6 months. I had to ask about it 4 times before they responded. I have had a squirrel running around in my ceiling for about 8 months now. Again, I asked several times for maintenance to do something about it, with no response for about 2 months. Finally, someone came to put a "trap" up there. The squirrel must be smarter than maintenance because he's still up there making noise. I could be all day here writing about all the crap that goes on in this place. My point is, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
