Southridge Woods is one of the better Central Jersey apartments! I have been living here for four years, and having lived elsewhere in the area, it's the best apartment value around. On the outside, you get a typical Jersey garden apartment look, which is not so nice (why can't New Jersey make a decent looking apartment building'). Inside, it's a lovely apartment with hardwood floors and a neutral paint job, decent layout, high ceilings, easy to decorate. Best of all, it's CLEAN! In addition, nothing has ever broken on me, and if it has (like when my heat broke yesterday!), it's been fixed within a few hours. When I moved out a few years ago (before I moved back in this last time), my security deposit came back to me 100% within a few weeks. The tenants are friendly and respectful, except for one incident in which a tenant opened up one of my delivered packages and returned it to me opened. I guess he didn't like what I had ordered. I recommend living on the SECOND FLOOR. The third floor is not well insulated in the ceiling, and the second floor has the insulation benefit of the first and third floors. My heating and cooling bills are higher on the third floor than when I lived on the second floor. If you want glamour and luxury, go to Manhattan, Red Bank, or otherwise. If you need a decent, safe place to live that is central to everything, move here.
