From bad to worse

When I moved here the place had little charm but the price wasn't that bad. No amenity whatsoever though. As time passed it became clear that the managment was only concerned with doing the absolute minimum. Walls and ceiling lump, crack, and rut all over with weak attempts to patch. Paint coats to span last 50 years. Unable to control heat (and can get very, very cold in winter), no AC in summer. Children play in street, dumpsters, hallways, laundry room, all without parent supervision. Tenents park on sidewalk or in fire zones. From the 1970's tiling in the bathroom to the high school grade cabinetry in the kitchen (which of coarse, won't stay closed) this place is has gone from bad to worse since I have been here. They have done maintanence on my apartment and left my door unlocked all day, second guess and debate me when i tell them there is a problem, or promise to have a problem fixed and keep sending over someone who can't fix the issue. Laundry room's would make a great haunted house, but make you feel dirty just to be standing in them. Broken windows in the lobby remain broken, steps to apartment uneven, hallways never painted during entire stay (and look dirty and have crayon on them), and bushes either run wild covering sidewalk or die and left for the weeds. In general, I feel embarrassed to have friends of family over, and would not recommend this place. Do yourself a favor, look harder to find a place that you won't regret living in.
