Nice, but not worth the outrageous price

This is a new property and I was the first one to live in my apartment. Overall, the one bedroom is nice but a little small.
I recently received my renewal notice and was SHOCKED that the new rent is increased by almost $300 more a month. It's OUTRAGEOUS. I thought the rent I'm paying now is a little high, but to increase it $300''''' For a small one bedroom'''Needless to say, I am not renewing.
The location is close to all major highways, but if you're stuck having an apartment that overlooks East Hanover Ave., be prepared to never have silence when you sleep. That road is busy at all hours. And the train passes through right behind both apartment buildings, so be prepared to hear that rumble at all hours of the night, as well.
Overall, the property is nice but definitely not worth the price they charge.
