My unit tripled in value in the last 5 years

This is a nice quiet neighborhood and very safe. The management company changed last year and is performing very well. In 5 years I've had to make ZERO maintenance requests. They've made several improvements to the common grounds and it is not unattractive. The monthly fee I pay for a 2 bedroom is not unreasonable: you can write-off approximately 50% of what you pay, which includes property tax, property mortgage, heat and hot water, ground maintenance (garbage, snow removal, pool, tennis, etc). I've completely remodeled my unit. My place is a palace, I was able to buy something I could afford and make it to my standards. I have a high-end kitchen and bath, recessed lighting, custom closet organizers, raised panel doors and custom wood blinds. What a treat for the person who buys it from me. What a treat for me that I will have made almost $100k in equity in 5 years (ps-the values have not gone down at any point in 5 years, contrary to another post).
