I agree with another renter- the Mountain Club is likely the most upscale apartment community in its price range. People are nice to one another, the place is clean and well kept. There are many young professionals renting here eg, lawyers, etc. who stay for a few years while saving up for a house.

Regarding the schools, I think after elementary everyone winds up at Brooklawn HS and then Parsippany Hills HS along with the kids from Littleton anyway.

No other apartment community has such a gorgeous clubhouse! It looks like it was designed for a hotel.

The $50 per month fee for a garage is correct, although landlords who have to pay this may only want to pass this option onto their tenants if they can make an extra few $$ per month on the garage. Nevertheless there is a waiting list for a garage and they will fine you if you store anything inside it and I mean anything but the car.

The apartment prices are going up though to match the rest of the luxury apartment prices. I know that some 1 bedrooms are being offered for up to $1550 per month on www.mountainclubcondos.com, but these have luxury unexpected things in them like jacuzzis and mouldings and tiled showers.

Oh I wanted to mention the local commute. You can't get a much better location if you work in one of the many corporate plazas off of Route 10 or Route 202 / Littleton Road. The Mountain Club is like 2 minutes from littleton Road which means you'll be at work in no time. Even if you need to commute closer to Rt 46 or Cherry Hill Road, thats maybe 15min with traffic max. But live in Denville or anywhere further west on Rt 10 and you will be sitting in traffic for 45 minutes each morning guaranteed because of the horrendous traffic on Rt 10. Everyone and their mother is commuting into Parsippany / Morris Plains even driving over 1 hour from places like Sparta! The train to New York Penn Station or Hoboken is in Morris Plains and is about a 5-7 minute drive depending upon traffic. Get there early because parking is at a premium. While one can commute to NYC (route 80 is nearby), the Mountain Club is really ideal for people working locally in Parsippany, Morris Plains, or Whippany.
