If your a single woman moving into this apartment complex you will be fine, but if you are a couple or a guy you will be very disappointed. This complex is in a very good area and is generally very quite, but the downside to this place is the fact that the super plays favorites and really is not qualified to be running this complex. In order to get something done you have to go over his head and go to his boss, but even his boss (some company in Parsipanny!) is neglecting this place. The laundry room has three washers and two dryers on two ends of the complex. Most of the time they are broken and it is your responsibilty to call and get them fixed. The sidewalks are in shambles, the parking lot needs to be repaved and remarked (making it a victim for people double parking), and the garbage area is disgusting, but if you say anything to the super his response is that it is not his job. As a matter of fact you really do not know what his job is. You pay all utilities (gas, water, sewer, electric) and there is no explanation as to what you're paying for because it fluxuates abnormally. Also if you like to go out at night make sure you have the sprinklers timed because they are on even when it rains. If you have a pet you have to pay a non-refundable pet fee plus $35 a month extra. Mind you some people pay for their pets and others do not (These are his favorites). If something breaks in your apartment don't hold your breath to get it fixed. The super is always waiting on a part that never seems to come in. The super is not very professional and likes to gossip. If you do decide to move here just hope and make sure that your apartment is in good working order.

This review is completely accurate and very similar to my experience at Hampshire Terrace. Ben definitely treats different tennants with different levels of respect.
