SLUM From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 8/16/2002 Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2002   They get away with billing this slum out as "luxury apartments" because they are constantly doing a half-assed renovation on something in this building that is in a constant state of decay. If you like bugs in your kitchen, worn, warped floors, a heating and A/C unit that kicks up dust and barely works, a kitchen sink that spews up sewage (I am not kidding you) and a staff of non-English speaking people cleaning and sanitizing the mess with your kitchen soap and dish sponge, being notified of construction one day before it happens, having your newspaper stolen everyday, having doors with so many coats of paint you cant close them and having fuses blow out sporadically, having almost no where to park, having your bathroom tiles come out of the wall,having to move everything by from the basement up because they wont let you bring large items through the doors, and living with people of the average age of 104,and having your water run brown and taste like soil, this place is for you. However, if you enjoy having any peace and relaxation in your life, I would suggest looking elsewhere.
