Like many have mentioned, this place is all roses when you first arrive, seemingly the perfect place to live. Well, we've been there for 14 months and the front office leasing agents have all been fired- TWICE. We had added an extra (read: 3rd) parking spot and had been paying an additional $75 for it every month. Front desk had NO idea as of last week and we've been paying for it for well over 9 months now. Who was pocketing that $75 then since we don't have a credit on record'
Onsite maintenance is very creepy and ghetto. They sit by the pool all day and make kick backs on towing companies who they can see from their apartments. Visitor "parking" is a joke- as stated, 12 spots for 400 units'!
Management is so incompetent they LOST TRACK of everybody's assigned parking spots: TWICE! IN A MATTER OF MONTHS!'
We went to renew our lease and were dumbfounded to discover our new neighbors just moved in on a 15 month for price of 12 deal. They would NOT give us the same deal even though the place is barely 90% occupied (lots of people moving out recently). We had to deal with somebody who I would consider very incompetent down at the leasing office when we discovered he was just filling in because they had to fire the entire staff twice. They have NO idea what's going on down there and they were just audited by Roseland Property Management Co. a few weeks ago, I assume to discover why things were being so poorly run. The staff doesn't return emails or phone calls, but if you have to deal with them, STRICTLY DEAL WITH EMAIL because if they tell you something in person, they WILL NOT HONOR it or "conveniently" forget they spoke to you about it. Absolutely incredible!
The apartments are WAY overpriced- we're talking manhatten pricing. They're nice, but when you inspect the workmanship more closely, you realize there is shoddy paint, molding, missing screws/hinges, etc. About 7 out of 10 on workmanship.
It's very loud- our window faces the "visitor" parking area which is fantastic because you get the tow trucks every 20 minutes stopping by and "beeping" backing up. The hovercraft style garage fan was louder than a 747 for about 6 months before they fixed it, now it just runs ALL THE TIME albeit it only sounds like white noise 24/7 now.
The pool/jacuzzi leaks into the underground garage. The garage GATE is broken frequently.
The "recreation room" is the hangout for managerial staff when the pool closes AT 8:00PM!''! The gym has a decent setup but the TV's were broken for a week and a half'!
Electric is hella expensive and insulation isn't too great so it's hot in the summer and cold in the winter (read: heat or AC on all the time).
If it isn't obvious, we can't wait to get out of there and wish them "all the best."

I think this person is a little bitter that they didn't get the 3 month deal that they are offering to new residents. Be honest, isn't that what this is all about? All you do is complain in this review and then tell us that you were looking to renew??? Doesn't take a genius to figure this one out.

mustardeater...if you haven't lived there, I wouldn't be so quick to defend the property. Everything is completely true in this review.
