Decent living, but bad management and totally overpriced!

The majority of the complaints on this board are valid. This is a pretty comfortable place to live, but considering the high rents, there are a lot of problems. Management really could care less about the tenants after the lease is signed. Management is disorganized. They promised us a lot of things in the tour that did not come true.
Examples
1- They promised aerobics classes-- there are none.
2- The cardio theatre/ tv system has been broken in the gym for about 9 months.
3- Promised cappucino daily in the lounge. This is untrue.
4- Told me that the only utility was electric, but they make you pay them for water.
5- They say they have wireless internet in the common areas, but they don't know the password!!
Management constantly slips notes under your door asking you to do things for them, like remind them of which parking space and vehicle you have or else your car will be towed. What a joke. I have to take time out of my busy schedule, because they couldn't keep track in the first place'
The gym and pool are totally overcrowded!!
Maintenance has never been a problem for me.
Visitor parking is never available. Ever.
The apartments look generally good, but the workmanship is shoddy. I moved into a brand new apartment and there was a huge crack in the bathroom tiles.
When I decided to move out, they rudely sent me a bill with my notice of cancellation with "mysterious" charges of unpaid utility and insufficient rent. They have nothing to back up their claims and I plan to fight them b/c the bill makes no sense and I am all paid up with them.
The parking spaces in the garage are so tight!! Plan to get door dings.
If the concierge is not there, you cannot pick up your packages and at times, the concierge was gone for days. I couldn't get my medicine!! Also, although you cannot get a package delivered to your door, you have to sign that if they lose your package, they are not responsible. Catch 22!
You lose cable service every time it rains and sometimes when it's just humid out.
The business center for faxing and printing is always out of paper on off hours.
The A/C generators are in the apartments and they are extremely loud!!
The garage door is often broken. Eventually they get a security guard, who is sometimes asleep or on a cell phone in a car near the garage entrance.
People prop doors all the time to smoke or walk dogs, so the secure building is a joke. I asked management to put a key fob entry by the back door so people wouldn't prop it and they said they're looking into it. Yeah right.
Numerous times there was Dog feces or urine in the stairwells = rude, inconsiderate residents.
Anyhow, I was comfortable in my unit and happened to face a nice grassy knoll on New Street. However, for the prices they are charging, I just expected to be treated better. I am moving out and think I can be just as comfortable in a non-"luxury" complex for 2/3 of the price.
