I had to find an apartment within two weeks of moving to New Jersey. Raritan Crossing was the first one I found. They showed me a model upstairs from their office which was beautiful. When I say looks are deceiving please beleive it. When I moved in my bathroom was very nasty. The second month of being here my bathroom flooded cause of the people upstair had a problem with their toilet. As soon as the water started coming down the walls I called them. It took them so long to come and fix it my ceiling fell. My kitchen was never painted when I first move in food stains all over the walls, then I was in the kitchen doing dishes my water started coming out brown. Then I asked for an exterminator due the fact I have big ass spider,roaches,and centipedes in my apartment and they never showed up. And NO I didn?t bring the roaches with me and they tell you that you have to call every friday so the exterminator could come on monday. I have made an appointment a couple of times and no one ever came out. My dam kitchen draws fell in after two weeks of being here,then I was told I was going to get some new kitchen cabinets I never received them. The kitchen cabinets I have now look like they are hanging from a dam wire. It a ------- nightmare to live here. I orginally from newark,nj where they say that is suppose to be ghetto but this apartment complex has newark beat by a long shot. My neighbors upstairs don?t never seem to go the hell to bed so I?m up all night with them. When you complain to management they don?t do a dam thing. They have these fake ass want to be thugs that live around here which is horrible. One minute you have heat the next you don?t. The maintenance men could hardly speak a bit of dam english and don?t call one of them in the middle of the night you will get so much attitude. The sad part about it is that a whole bunch of lawyers is supposed to own this complex and it goes to show they are just about the money. When you walk in the office they are not friendly at all, it?s like what the hell you want now' They sit here and say they give you a two bed room but it really a one bdrm with a den. They make you turn the den to a bdrm. I can?t wait to get the hell out of here.
