First let me start by stating that the Manager tries very hard to please his tenants. He is honest and a kind man. The maintenance team will make an effort as slight as it may be to keep this property clean but, some of the tenants here think they live in the ghetto. They have no respect for other tenants or themselves for that matter. Maintenance will clean and maintain the landscaping and the tenants will throw empty bottles and trash on the lawn. The pool costs a slight fair fee for the summer which I don t mind paying if I could actually use it. The water is so dirty and it looks yellow on the bottom. Take our money and maintain the pool! I wanted to join the fitness center but I am afraid to as the fee is way more money and I don t want to waste my money on a dirty facility.
The laundry rooms are dark and dirty. If you do your laundry you will have lint on your clothes for lack of maintaining the machines. Do not drop a piece of clothing on the floor as you will have to wash all over again because the floors are filthy. Again, the manager tries but I m sure he cannot watch the maintenance staff every minute to ensure they are doing their jobs appropriately and thoroughly. Raritan Crossings is a safe place to live and could be a beautiful place if the maintenance staff wasn t so lazy and management was a little stricter on the tenants. Parking is good if you come home before 7:00 PM, after that good luck. Be careful walking in the front of the complex as the tenants are so lazy that they go on the wrong side of the street to avoid speed bumps and will not park on the right side of the street because they do not want to turn their vehicles around. When I moved here my floors were not stripped and re finished, maintenance just put fresh polyurethane over the dirty floors. I guess for the money we pay rent it is acceptable, but I would rather pay more and live like a human being.

We at Raritan Crossing apartment homes management, put every effort possible in accommodating and considering our residents/customers needs and desires. We are committed to a clean and safe environment within Raritan Crossing, as well as same day maintenance trouble shooting. As you can see in other previous reviews, our customers seem to appreciate our efforts. The management staff, as well as maintenance staff are residents of Raritan Crossing, and thus share an absolute care and responsibility to the appearance of all common areas, which include grounds, playgrounds, fitness center, and the pool. The owners of Raritan Crossing are and will be, extremely committed to continually improve the life style of residents at Raritan Crossing. The following are just a couple of improvements that have taken place in Raritan Crossing in the last three years; all apartments are equipped with brand new kitchen cabinets, appliances, and bathroom vanities. Security cameras were installed, and access control gates system has been activated. A Brand new First class equipped Fitness center (for tenants who would like to use it, we charge a minimal amount of $300 per year per apartment. That ensures that it???s being used, rather than abused). Two brand new playgrounds for children ages 2-12 were installed, we resurfaces the pool, repaved and restriped the roads, installed brand new landscaping and irrigation for over 150K, and many more small upgrades, such as, all outdoor lighting was replaced, to enhance the quality life styles of the residents at Raritan crossing. Finally, I would just ad that we are a pro tenant management, and will accommodate any need a resident would ask us to accommodate. Just like everything in life, we are not always perfect. I can assure you however, and we make every effort to be perfect. Raritan crossing is a solid middleclass community, who offers you a beautiful life style, for a very reasonable price. Come and get impressed on your own, we are looking forward to see you.
