for the price, the 1 bedroom apartment we had was okay. nice size, the kitchen was reasonably new, and there was a moderate amount of closet space. i really liked the apartment inside and if you decorate nicely it can feel sort of homey. had some problem with bugs but that's expected in such an oldddd building...

the real problem is the neighbors. loud loud loud music 24/7, loitering outside(complained to staff, nothing was done)....i know they need to live, but they use the front steps to the building as if it as a front porch and then get upset when we need to leave and they have to move their cheetos off of the front steps...attitude of the neighbors, and i didn't feel safe. parking is a HUGE problem...terrible! and i got parking tickets for no reason sometimes!

i would only reccomend this apartment if you need something fast(like I did...didn't have a lot of time to wait) because there are plenty of vacant apartments. also, good location because it is close to rt 1 and the njturnpike...but the construction on 18 is also a pain in the butt so it's a toss up. seriousy, reconsider if you ar ethinking of moving there....the neighborhood sucks and i rather feel safe somewhere and pay slightly more...
