Riverside Towers is by far the worst apartment I have ever witnessed. First of all, the ignorant and overtly rude secretary did not sign the back of my security deposit check, and when it was not cashed in by the bank, sent me late fee after late fee, telling me it was my fault. Finally, she admitted her mistake, but I have yet to be refunded for the $500 plus dollars in late fees I paid because of that bad check (and i move out---thank god--next month). Secondly, the complex is beyond disgusting. Someone tried to break into my apartment a couple of months ago, damaging my door knob-- and it is yet to be fixed. The apartments are falling apart despite the renovations--the newly renovated carpet has come up on all edges, the bathtub was painted white to hide blemished and paint chips of during showers, the cabinets are flimsy and have missing hardware, and the window screens are ripped. The parking is ridiculous, you get towed from your own spot. They only offer one parking spot, and if you park on the street you get ticketed. The city's parking authority will not give you a permit because you live in a complex with a lot. I was towed from the two-hour parking spot after being their for 15 minutes. THIS IS THE WORST APARTMENT COMPLEX EVER... PLEASE DON'T LIVE HERE-- FOR YOUR OWN SAKE!
