I have lived in another apartment ran by the same management company - and what a difference. Maybe management cares more about the apartments they maintain in upscale neighborhoods.

The staff here is great. Whenever I have a complaint, they immediately fix the problem, or schedule an exterminator. However, there is only so much you can do, when you are living in a large building, with dirty people, who don't care how they live.

We bombed our apartment 3 times in the first 6 months we lived here. We also had to seal up all the holes in the apartment ourselves (there are a lot of them). And we had to seal all the cracks in the cabinets to stop roaches from running around amoung our food. We put down traps to catch the mice that you will see running around the apartment and can hear running through the radiators. We also have a big ant problem.

I read some bad things about the security but they have always been great to me. However, there is only one parking spot per apartment. There is no visitor parking.

The building looks like the projects from the outside and in the hallways. But the apartments are new. Everything in my place is new. They mop the halls everyday but there is always someone urinating in the hallway. I know because the elevator beaks down nearly every day and I'm forced to use the stairs. Imagine that living on the 10th floor.

If you are a clean person - do not move here. You will not be happy. Can't wait until my lease is up so I can get out of here.
