Tov Manor

Iıve lived here with my boyfriend and another couple for almost a year.Weıre in a brand new building(the deluxe 2 bedroom apt) which is the only one in the complex.I would not recommend living here unless you are going to live in this building and even then there are problems.The only major complaint that we have is the management which is only 1 woman.You have to call her 7 or 8 times until she finally gets someone over to your apartment, and then they donıt fix the problem b/c the maintanence staff doesnıt speak english and doesnıt understand what you tell them.We have had several problems with our apartment such as the doorbell being broken and the heat making funny noises, and we had to get a letter from the township to threaten the management just so that they would fix everything.Our a/c also broke and they told us that we wouldnıt get another one til April(itıs now February and weıre moving out in May).Other than the management/maintanence staff, the apartment is beautiful.Everything is fairly new and the apartment is very spacious.There is plenty of parking, although there are a lot of abandoned cars that have been sitting outside since before we moved in.We are in the only building with carpet, which they claimed was "cleaned" before we moved in when it obviously wasnıt and we had to have them come back to shampoo it later (and it still didnıt look clean).The noise level is terrible because we hear our neighbors upstairs walking around, going to the bathroom, and playing extremely loud music all day long.We can also hear our roommates tv right through the wall.I would suggest living upstairs or donıt live here at all.The heat makes the apartment warm pretty quickly and so does the a/c, but the a/c gets stuff like branches inside of it and sometimes makes a lot of noise.Donıt even consider living in the other regular, not deluxe apartments.They are ancient and even the "upgraded" ones are nasty.The only difference is that they have newer kitchens with cabinets that you can actually open.The floors are all cockeyed and the wood looks like people have been ice skating on it, and even the bathroom tiles arenıt layed right.Tov Manor is the only place that is close to Cook College and is extremely convenient, but itıs not worth your money if youıre not going to live in an upstairs deluxe 2br apartment and get all the problems fixed before you move in!!!


I would also like to say that I think that any complex run by Oxford Realty except for Treetops and maybe 1 other are terrible and I would not recommend living there!! They donıt care about their customers and they donıt do anything to help fix their problems.
