Terrible management; poor maintenance

I've lived at Tov Manor for about 4 years. The 3 previous comments are essentially accurate. I only continue to live here because it is a very convenient location and because I'm too lazy to move.
The biggest problems are the heat, hot water, vandalism, and bugs.
Heat is poorly controlled--but I solve that by leaving windows open every day of the year. The oven and stove have pilot lights which makes the kitchen even hotter. The airconditioning units are very old, loud, inefficient, and ineffective.
Hot water (and sometimes cold) goes out at random about 5-6 times a year. Sometimes you get cold water, sometimes lukewarm water, sometimes brown water, sometimes nothing at all. The super explains that you shouldn't expect anything better because the place is so old.
Some people park cars in the Sears lot at the end of Phelps Ave. Someone deters this behaviour by smashing about 2 car windows each week. This has been going on semi-regularly for years.
My apartment was infested with very small ants when I moved it. Management's response was to provide a bottle of bug spray. I find squishing individual ants to be more effective. I can manage the population until they find a particularly nice place to infest (such as a plant), but they never go away.
Can't say I'd recommend this place to anyone for anything but a very short stay.
