Where to start I hate these apartments and can't wait till the day my lease is up, it is such a nightmare I am thinking of breaking my lease as no amount of money is worth this misery. I have not had a decient nights sleep in over 6 months.
All I hear day and night is traffic, traffic and more traffic, my whole apartment vibrates from the traffic, truly literally shakes. I only share one wall as am in an end unit and it still sucks!!! The wall are so thin I can hear the cat above me walk across the floor day and night as it paces. There is no peace and quiet here, the windows have no screens, and can't be opened even if you wanted to smell car vapors b/c of the antiquated window air conditioners and even though they are suppose to be brand new rattle and make even more noise. Think thats bad waith till the summer or spring when you can't control the heat in the apartment and are in a sauna. Even if you are lucky enough to have maintenance finally appear at your door after weeks of calling, that does not mean the job will be done cause they don't care and are full of reasons why things can't be fixed. Let's see saftey well I did not have a front porch light for the first 6 months that I've lived here and had to guess where they key hole was in the front door ever evening, the area is nice if you disregard the questionable looking teenagers lurking around cars in the parking lots....oh that is by the way only if you get home before 5pm and can find a spot otherwise be prepared for a walk. And as an added bonus the staff sucks especially the rental mangr who is as rude as they come. So stay away find another place even the ghetto would be better at least you'll save some money. Its like the saying goes you can take the girl out of the trailer park but you can't take the trailer park out of the girl..that is the case with Brookchester Apartments they can renovate all they want and be in an ok area but the apartments will always be a trailer park!
