I lived in Mt. Prospect Tower-building 402 from 2008-2009. The good things are the the one bedroom apt is spacious over 1000 square feet, it has a large terrace with a good view. The kitchen is modern with a dishwasher. There are lots of closets space in the apt. The apt is refurbished. The carpet is new and the walls painted. I payed 1100 with utilities included. The apt as central air. Their is security in the front lobby sometimes. Now, the negatives have to do with manangement and maintence. This buidling is suppose to have a no dog policy, however a lot of the tenants have dogs. The dogs piss in the elevators. Maintence does not respond in a timely matter. It took them 3 months to fix my diswasher. Since I moved in I been complaining about knobs for the radiator/ac unit and a screen for one of my windows. I never got. I did not purchase parking because it was expensive-$30 outdoors and $90 indoors. You can find parking out in the street. The only problem I had with my car is the first month I moved there some idot slashed all 4 of my tires. This happen right in front of my building. So much for security.
