These apartments look nice enough at first glance. The grounds are well kept, it is convenient to public transit and the highways, and the towers do look nice. But the minute you move in the roaches literally come out in droves. No matter how clean you are you cannot keep the roaches out. Also, the ancient air-conditioning units which they force you to rent don't cool that well and they run up your electric bill. And they still charge you for their rental even in winter. Also, you get nasty surprises when you get your monthly rent statement. They tack on late and legal fees just for the hell of it saying "oh your check must have been delayed in the mail" They are nice to you when you are being shown the apartments and getting your lease, but once you move in, good luck on getting anything taken care off. The sinks drain slowly, the fridge freezes up, and the tub constantly backs up. Don't live here unless you don't mind bugs, are extremely desperate and your only other option is homelessness1

To anonymous Genius? I am a genius. I left the toilet known as New Jersey and now live in Vancouver, BC. I don't have to deal with arrogant, ignorant, hostile people I dealt with constantly while living in the NYC metro area(or people cowardly enough to post "anonymous"). Newark was no jewel, I knew that. You literally get what you pay for. Seriously anonymous, F*ck you!! Enjoy the roaches, the incompetent illiterate peasants who work for Pavilion and the dishonest swine that manage Pavilion. Of all the places I have lived in my life the stench of living in Newark has finally been washed off. The relentless rain of Vancouver is good for something.

Newark was no jewel, I knew that. - So then what's this all about. Are you mad because you made a decision and it wasn't to your expectations? Vancouver, Newark, Vancouver, Newark. Are you serious? Canada is beautiful, Newark is one of the sh*ttiest places in the world not just the U.S. it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out. It's called a TV or a newspaper. Better yet rent Grand Theft Auto 4 that sums up NYC and it's outer boroughs to the fullest extent. Real life is here and there is no avoiding it, but hey I have no hard feelings I'm glad you found a better place in life. Best of luck to you and yours in Canada.
