This place is very beautiful if you can afford it.There are two buildings Forest Hill Towers I and II.Both buildings are lovely. I lived in building II in a studio for 2 years (rent was $785) then upgraded to a one bedroom (rent was $1100,12th floor with NYC view) in building I.The apartments are very large and spacious and some have exquisite views of the NYC. The management staff was very helpful and courteious in the beginning, but once they get you in the apartment their attitudes can be a little rude at times.But, the maitenance team is great. They don't speak good english, but they handle problems fast. I never had any major problems in my apartment. There were NO Bugs or Rodents.My apartment had tons of sunlight.My kitchen was full of updates..kitchen and bathroom. My neighbors were quiet professionals who rarely made noise. I never encountered any problems with the elavators. The wash room was clean and efficient(sometimes the large machines didn't work).Parking was a bit costly but it's covered. The security personel are a bit older, they are nice and they know everyone who lives in the buildings.Overall this place is great and this particular area of Newark is better than others.
