Was my 1st apartment & actually liked what came with the apartment. My husband & I were lucky enough to get a nicely refurbished apartment with EVERYTHING brand new.

One of my biggest complaints is the parking. I worked in NYC & had to come home late at night several times & had to walk like forever to get back home. I felt totally unsafe being a woman with poor lighting all around.

2nd complaint, as someone pointed out before, is the small small closet space. Very narrow & shallow, had a very hard time keeping clothing in a closet for 2 people.
The heat wasn't that great, too old I think. The AC was good, only if your in the living room. The ceiling fans were loud. The buildings need repair & looks out of date.
Maintenance was really nice to us. Got locked out twice & they came to the rescue very quickly.
One benifit was the bus, the walk to a lot of stores & resturants (especially Virgils).
The rent went up every year, like $50 a year with nothing in return.

It's an OK place. Some of the neighbors are nice & keep to themselves. Not bad.
PLUS we had 2 cats & had NO problem. One maintence guy like our cats & got down on the floor to pet her.
No problem with the deposit.
