I lived in Riverview Gardens with my husband beginning in the year 2000 and we recently moved because we bought a house. This apartment complex was a nice place to live! The staff was super friendly, in particular Kathy (office manager), and Denny and Arthur. They are very efficient. Now of course there were times when things went wrong (i.e. power outage, no heat, etc) but these things are to be expected. This was not the fault of the people working there. Whenever there was a problem, they worked quickly and efficiently to remedy the problem. Also, whenever a repair was needed in the apartment, they were done quickly as well (in fact more quickly once Dennie began working there). I would recommend this apartment complex. There are nice people living there if you take the time to introduce yourself and meet them. Many people decorate for the holidays and it makes the whole place feel very homey. There are plenty of places to eat and access to all major highways is a plus! I can't understand for the life of me the negative comments that people post for this place. Like I said above, naturally things go wrong and maintenance is required, but remember - you don't have to pay for it. When you own a house, you have to pay for the repairs. The apartments are a decent size and some even have washer/dryers. However, there are large washer dryers in many of the buildings for a nominal fee of $1.25 per load.
