I have lived at Riverview Gardens for 6 years, there are some good and bad points to every apartment complex... Bad points are that the buildings are old. my bathroom had black gunk that backed up into it constantly for almost 3 years. They came to fix it numerous times but it never went away. Wasn't till I sent nasty pictures to the owning company that they sent an actual plumber, and everything has been good since. Also again its old so the walls and floors are paper thin. I can hear everything my neighbors do, and if we are watching the same TV channel I can actually put mine on mute and still hear the TV from downstairs. I don't have 1 door that shuts completely because they have about 100 layers of paint on them, and the steam from the radiators has made paint on the walls bubble all over. My biggest complaint is the lack of parking, if you come home past 6 good luck trying to find ANYTHING near your apartment. When my husband worked nights sometimes he had to park on the street outside the complex! Oh and if you check the local paper "The Leader" you will see that we have recently had a ton of car breakins. As for good points, I think the maintenece staff does the best they can with what they have, Denny & Mark are awsome and always helpful. My neighbors for the most part have been very friendly, many of them have lived there for 5 years or more, so it can't be that bad. And it is one of the few places where they have lawns that you can sit on and relax that are always maintained. All in all I'm happy to be moving from there, but I won't say I hated it.

i agree with everythin that was said. my family moved in about like a year ago. its okay but i think its way overprice. our apartment has alot of cockroaches and thats not because we dont clean .. somehow they just mysteriously multiplied and came from the wall or something. i always thought it was something next door. and i agree with the walls are paper thin comment. the walls are so thin that when i go to sleep at like 1 in the mornin i can hear the tv from downstairs and then they do this daily fight thats really loud but we try our best not to send a complain. the lack of parking space gets on my nerves. my dad comes home around midnight and he can't find a parking space near the apartment. sometimes he has to park 1 block away. the good thing is that mostly everyone is friendly. but there could be some improvements

Lets start with the name "Riverview". The first lie the landlord tells just to get money. I have yet to see any riverview here.
