I've escaped - HURRAH!

I can't believe I lived five years there. When I moved in, things were not the best, but the management tried to keep on top of the problems. Then it was decent for a while, good neighbors, not much trouble. The only substantial hassle is the traffic. I lived three miles from work and to get home between 5-6:30 took at least 20-30 minutes because traffic backs up there SO badly.
It wasn't long after that things made a turn for the worse. New lackluster management, BIG rise in crime, porch lights always out, roaches, bed bugs and the parents seem to let their kids run wild late into the evening. They also claim a no pet policy but look the other way when people have them - and the feral cats mentioned in the other review - HUGE problem. The management would make a token effort every now and then, but when one problem would come close to getting corrected, another would pop up.
Then to add insult to injury, they tried to raise the rent even though everything was going downhill. I'm SO glad to be gone from that place - and from what I hear from others, there's quite the mass exodus going on there.
