Since there has been no reviews in a couple years, I thought I would share. I really enjoy living at Hadley. My apartment faces the woods, so it offers some nice privacy; however, one disadvantage is that I have to hear my loud upstairs neighbor who thinks stomping around with shoes on is enjoyable. In conjunction with this, everyone can here most people going up and down the stairs, which some people (myself and a few others) are 'good walkers' and others are just annoyingly loud. Those are my biggest complaints, but I have rented for 8 years in many places and these are usually my complaints. On very good notes, my one bedroom apartment is enormous for anything you will ever find in Central Jersey for the price. Granted, my rent when I moved in was 920 and now I am paying 1010 (2009); altho, find me something, other than every ones 401K, that hasn't gone up in price. The apartments come with the standard appliances and LOTS of closet space, if there wasn't then I don't think I would have let my significant other move in with me. Also note, that there is a washer/dryer in the apartment, so coin operated college life style can be gone forever! As I said, I face the woods and I am in one of the 1st buildings, so I have no idea how other buildings are, but ours is clean, and the hallway only smells a little (good in comparison to the apartments in Plainsboro!). There are some good kids, and none seem to have had any problems... there were some references of this place/area being Ghetto... go up Route 130, then tell which is ghetto. If I could take this apartment and move it a little South, I would not be desperately looking for another place, but the commute South is killing me... no where other than NJ will it take you 40 minutes (on a good day) to travel 18 miles. But for now, Hadley is still my home and the area has a lot of nice things to do, so staying is a good thing. In conclusion...

If you can't tolerate noise (as I type, the beast above is so gently pounding around), then this isn't the place for you... If you can, and you want a large one bedroom apartment (that includes water, sewer and garbage) then come by and meet the infamous Bob (who, overall, is a nice guy)... the rental agent office people (not located in the building) on the other hand are kind of short with you and at times rude, but I guess that's their job, its a pain, but someone has to do it'!'
