I sure hope no hurricanes hit NJ, because this place would crumble! My pipes routintely froze this winter. The supers were always quick to respond, but they had to come several times as the pipes kept freezing. The last time, the pipes burst when they applied the heating device. Water everywhere. They did spend the rest of the day cleaning up and fixing the problem, and they found that there was no insulation above the eave over the apartment door. The builders took out their calculators and figured they?d save cash if they skipped insulating in places. That mentality pervades the complex - my bathroom door lock broke, the front door lock got loose, the stove is off-balance, the shower curtain rod is the cheapest crap money can buy at Home Depot. Utility bills will skyrocket in winter thanks to poor insulation - sealing the windows did little good. The walls become discolored if you bump into them, no doubt so they can hang on to your deposit. Oh, and my bathroom still isn?t repaired from the Great Flood - part of the ceiling where the supers cut away still needs to be repainted.



Also, beware the townhouses here: the garages will not fit a car other than a Yugo or a Ford Fiesta. The builders trimmed length from the garages to save more cash. You can?t even park a Honda Civic inside.



I would run away at full speed from anything built by this company. Unlike the other reviewers, I didn?t find Tanya the rental agent to be unpleasant to deal with.
