Everything about the apartment was nice except lack of insulation and cheaply made cabinets and appliances. I moved out because i was going to get married. We (my roommate and I) did the walk through and they found 2 damages. A month later we received our deposit and to our surprise they added on a 3rd damage and deducted it from our deposit! This was done after the official walkthrough! I spoke to the SUper and he informed me that I needed to talk to Peggy at the Middlesex Management office. We called her various time over a period of 3 months and sent her letters regarding that matter. The last letter was certified. She never got back to us. I finally got a hold of her and she was apathetic and unapologetic about the matter. She curtly told me that management was handling my matter now. She would not give me names or a number where I could reach management and she also would not tell me how long it would take for someone to get back to me about my matter. Needless to say I filed a complaint to the better business bureau at bbb.com; while there I discovered that other complaints were filed against Middlesex Management (who i found out owns other properties). I advice everyone to be careful and to be well informed before renting apartments from Middlesex Management. www.bbb.com is a great source to check to find out if there have been complaints about other businesses.
