Middlesex Mgmt is very well known to steal their renter's security deposit.
The Super who went on a walk through after we moved out did not complain much. But ended up charging for faults which were non-existent. The Super possibly earns a commission for pointing out problems supposedly caused by renters moving out. This man charged us $1000 for one small teeny weeny patch somwhere in the living room. They however do not have the guts to come and talk to you directly. If you call him and ask why you are charging him, he says, Call so-and-so. If you call this other so-and-so, he says, he only charges what the Super says. They all take you for a ride. Beware! Rest assured. you will get less than 50% of your security deposit back. This is is Middlesex Management Policy!!

They tried doing that to me and I called someone and complained. By law they can only charge you for what is beyond normal wear and tear and they charged us for scratched stove, dirty carpets, etc. I had to call some lady and explain to her that this was regular wear and tear and if she felt it necessary to still charge me I would get whatever law enforcement I could into it, as it is against the law. She became immediately nice to me and said to just write a letter and they'd adjust the amount. From an original $1000 off my security deposit, they only made off with $50. Make sure you know your rights because every and anyone will try to swindle you on money!!
