I lived here for 3 years. The constant construction is horrible. They continue to build more and more apartments with no regard to the fact that there are not enough parking spots and only one entrance/exit into the complex. Construction vehicles take up the much needed parking spaces. Broken glass, pieces of lumber, and nails/screws are everywhere.
The people living in Maebrook have gotten worse as well. The first year, it was professionals and some college students. Now it has turned into a ghetto with many teenage kids hanging out on balconies throwing cigarette butts onto the grass and cursing. English is rarely (if ever) spoken at Maebrook.
I have seen many pets in the area. There is no enforcement of the "no pets" policy.
During the last snowstorm on 2007, no sidewalks were shoveled at all. The plows come through but they just plow everyone into their spots.
The only bright spot is the construction. I lived on the first floor and rarely heard any noise from the neighbors. Also, the windows seem adequate.
