I have been renting at Maebrook at Renaissance (Perry Drive) for 2 and 1/2 years. In the last year or so, the tenants have not been keeping the place tidy. You see garbage in the parking lot sometimes. Most recently, I saw a neighbor with a dog and no pets are allowed. Of course, there's dog mess in the grass; that is just disgusting.

Just as recent as last week, a neighbor that just moved in said his car was broken into and his radio stolen. Prior to that happening, I felt rather safe. Now I'll have to make sure I watch my back. I saw a security guard in the parking lot and I asked him about the the car that was broken into. You know what he said to me' He asked, "Was your car broken into'". I said, "No". He replied, "Well, don't worry about it then." He said this over and over and told me that was in the past. Unbelievable...he should be fired. What's next' Are they going to break into our apartments'

I think they are letting too many section 8 tenants in. They're the ones who are not keeping the place tidy. If you were paying that much rent, you would make sure the place does not deteriorate. Since section 8 tenants don't have to pay what we pay, I know they don't care. Give them a few more years and the place will start to look like a ghetto.

I moved there because there was a good mix of people (black, white, hispanic, east indian)...now, I'm seeing some hoodlum looking people. Who is screening these people' I'm not trying to be neighbors with hoodlums, people walking around with doorags on their heads. I might just have to move and I'm a good tenant because I pay my rent days in advance.

They really need to have a tougher screening process. If someone comes into the leasing office looking like a hoodlum, then don't rent to them. The security of the other tenants depend on it. 3mPoZ6gGN6wTPgNi4L2C
