I've lived in several apartments and this one is no worse or better than the others. It is clean when you move in and the maintenance crew has been helpful. We've got two really great neighbors but the neighbors directly above us seem to stomp around a lot... Parking can be a situation late at night which is annoying in the cold and it can be very drafty near the front door and some of the windows. Fortunately, the apartment is insulated by other units on three sides and the maintenance man gave us some weather stripping for the front door. There a lot of young families and young couples in the area, and although I feel like there's more and more litter on the ground, I've always felt safe and the area is well-lit.
If you move here, be sure you see the actual unit before agreeing to the lease. We were fortunate and got a unit that backs up to the woods, but many of the units back right up to the train tracks.
