This place was ok when I moved in (2003) but has gone steadily downhill ever since. It is totally ghetto here. The rental office woman is rude and indifferent. She seems more interested in smoking cigarettes inside the smelly rental office and talking on her cell phone than helping you. It will take you a minimum of 3 requests to get any maintenance done. Then you have the people that live here...Sometimes I fear that if I look at someone the wrong way, I might get stabbed or mugged by my shady neighbors. During the warmer months, in the parking lot outside my apartment, there is a van that comes and some Haitian NY guy sets up a flea market where he sells white t-shirts and fresh yams! It is ridiculous! The noise level is tolerable but every now and then I hear my neighbors stereo bass thumping through the thin walls. The streets are full of HUGE, gaping potholes, it looks like you are driving through downtown Baghdad after a bombing run. There is defintely an ant infestation where during the summer months you will find your kitchen cabinets and floors by the fire escape crawling with them. I can't wait until my lease is up.

oh God, I could not agree more. The rental office is so smelly. I do not know why they allow that lady to smoke in there. Whenever I call her up, she responds with a "Yes?" as if I am living there on charity.

have you ever been to baghdad! lmao i doubt it but i have and the streets are not that bad but if youd like to go i can arrange for it !
