Anytime I had a problem or needed help w/ the apt- calling the main office was torture. The representatives all act as if they were doing you a personal favor and there attitudes makes you want to jump through the phone and kick some seriou butt. They have this stupid policy about not giving out there last names. (keep in mind that you alway have to ask there name, b/c they will never give it to you)
I moved out in Feb. 2009. I called 2 weeks, 1 week, 5 days, 2 days and the day before I was supposed to move out to schedule a walk through with maintenance, b/c I've heard more than enough horror stories. Of course, no one put it on record that I've called, the manager at the office was a real ----- and simply refuse to work around my schedule (these guys only work btwn 8-4:30PM), even though I called to schedule this appt so far in advance. So I stayed home, missed work (and money) so they can do a walk through. Anan, (i think thats his name) the maintenance manager, came to walk through my apartment and he said it was spotless!!! But he has to charge me for something or else the main office will send someone to pick apart the apartment and charge for ANYTHING. So he gave me a price for the "fake charges" and signed off on the apartment. So me being extra careful, I took pictures of every nook and cranny of that 1 bedroom apt. Low and behold, I receive an itemized list of charges and b/c they're thieves, liars and crooks, they charged me for having a dirty bathroom and kitchen. But I have multiple pictures of the entire apartment looking better than it did when I origanally moved in. So now I have to fight them to get back the remainder of my money.
The sad part about this is that Anan, signed off on my origanal charges, but then he created a whole other list of charges for the main office. (His signature is on both) Middlesex Management is nothing but CROOKS!!!! Do not stay here unless you want to fight to get your own money back.
