Well I went to see an apartment today and boy was I pleased. Well me and my husband. First of all we went to the rent office and as always the office is a model of an actual apartment and that model was pretty "NICE" , beautiful layout. Then "Lena" the renter gave us keys to actual apartments to view that were ready for ocupancy and boy were me and my spouse Amazed !
The apartments looked brand new ! They cleaned the apartments so well. Seriously we felt like we were at a hotel. It felt to good to be true.
The only problem is that transportation really isnt convenient for us being that we only have one car.
Besides this everything is so "AMAZING" !. There is a shopping center right across Renaissance Manor its about a 15-20 min walk for the rest of the complex.
The pool area is great. The area is so green !

Please believe me I am not a Manager of the complex I am from Queens, NY and am looking for a good place to raise my son for a couple of years before me and my husband are able to afford to buy a place. (and the rent is affordable.)

One thing though, I must admit "Lena" from the office wasnt that friendly! nor was she that informative. but do know this I do not have to live with "Lena" nor do I have to like her ! if she gives me issues I will give it back to her ass ! I just hope that we can move in by August 17, 2007 ! wish us luck !!!

Its a great place !!!! get a car before thinking about moving here !!!

I went today as well, and thought the layout of 3 different models/apts. I saw were great, too! They are all huge and very clean. I'm wondering....I do have an indoor cat, and I know they have a strict no-pet policy. Any thoughts on if they'd actually find out?? Or what would happen if they did? I am worried though, because of some of the negative things I've seen posted here.... makes you think.

I have no idea. If you have a cat I dont think anyone will find out.

I can agree that the apartments are very nice and modern. I was just approved today for one. I researched the elementary school and being a caucasion from a predominantly white area my whole life, I am really excited that there is a diverse group of students that is well balanced. I think this will enrich my sons childhood and prepare him better socially than the lack of diversity he has had. As for the office lady "lena"... I have to laugh. Her name is Svetlana and she goes by "Lana". She has been not only helpful but extremely pleasant with me. I consider myself to be very pleasant toward others as well and I feel that most of the time you get what you give. I am very excited about this apartment. I read some complaints about curry smells and more. I must say I didn't smell anything at all. I saw no strange people walking around, and no speeding cars at all. I only saw a few young children riding their bikes and a mother walking with a small child. I saw nothing that would turn off anyone I know. I got a really warm feeling from this place. The office women were very nice but also VERY busy. Check this place out yourself before you take any nasty comments to heart. "Lana" is an absolute gem. Maybe they cought her on an off day or a busy moment. Just my 2 cents. I am very excited to move in!

Hello, I am quite interested in relocating with my 8yr old son, to this community from a single family home in PA. I am looking for HONEST pros and cons about this complex..Noise, maintenance, friendliness of neighbors, AN IDEA OF THE UTILITY bills, please help.

I wanted to throw this out there. I saw one person come out the sliders to walk their dog while I was taking a walk around the grounds... I saw one woman walk down a hill with a dog on a leash... and I have seen her coming in and out of an apartment prior to this.. she lives here. I also heard a dog barking from an apartment when taking the recyclables out... (totally different area) .. and also 2 other people coming out of an apartment with a dog.. also one woman carring a cat in a carrier. Has the pet policy changed? I have been wanting a small dog for a long time. I am not looking to get anyone in trouble. I wouldn't get into anyone's business like that. What does anyone have to say? I can't imagine people are walking around with pets like this if they could be evicted for it.

To the person who has a cat and thinks Middlesex Management won't find out............WRONG! Unfortunately, what will happen is this. When you move out of the apartment, they have their "ways" of determining if a dog/cat lived in the residence, no matter how much you clean up the place before moving. At a minimu, if your apt has wall-to-wall carpeting, the cost to replace the carpeting throughout the ENTIRE APT will be deducted from your security deposit and there will be absolutely nothing that you can do about it. There are people reporting tenants with pets every single day so it is likely they already know but aren't going to say anything to you as they've got a gurantee on new carpeting in the apt at your expense. This apt complex is advertised as a "pet free" place so they cannot risk a new tenant moving in after you and having an adverse reaction due to an allergic reaction as a result of a previous tenant having a pet; its an instant lawsuit that they cannot afford to lose. ---------------------------------------------------------------- The choice is management's, renters who have pet are without a doubt in violation of the terms of their lease and subject to whatever penalties management decides impose; this includes eviction. Read the leases before your sign them people! If your lease has a no pets clause don't listen to prospective neighbors who have pets cause misery loves company. IF and WHEN they crack down, like they are preparing to do in the Harbortown apts, then be prepared for the consequences.
