So this is my second week at renaissance manor. I am a grad student, moved in from out of state. I was very skeptical about the place based on the mixed reviews. However, I had a pleasant experience with management and liked the area so my roommate and I settled on this complex. So far, I would say that the pros are that our 2 bedroom apartment is very spacious, a perfect size for two people. The neighborhood also seems very safe. I have night classes, and I don't feel unsafe/there are no shady people lurking around when I get home. I had some issues with some closet racks being screwed in improperly, I called maintenance and they were very prompt in responding to my issue. The BIGGEST con however, is that the walls here are paper thin. My apartment is a first floor, and hindsight that was a bad idea to begin with. My upstairs neighbors are constantly running around and we hear thuds and banging ALL DAY and into the night hours. It gets to be very frustrating when I'm trying to relax or studying. I'm assuming they have kids up there, so if you're single or not a big fan of lots of children grouping on the sidewalk in front of your apartment, I suggest you look elsewhere. If it weren't for my loud neighbors, I'd say this place is pretty perfect. I'm not sure if I should confront the neighbors themselves or go through the management company and file a formal complaint. I just hope I get a little bit of peace soon!

Even if you call management they will do nothing, they dont care about you, all they want is money, I live in a first floor here also & i have kids, my neighbors upstairs have a couple & all they do allday & night is bounce off the walls onto the floor and I have complained numerous times & they dont give a crap, they want your rent $$$$$$.
