Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2008
I lived in my apartment for three years and not one thing was ever replaced except for one faulty fire alarm. I lived at two other apartment locations (different complex/company) and was never charged anything when I moved out. When I moved out from Renaissance Manor I was charged for the things that I mentioned to the management-at the time I moved in. 15 year old stove with 1 scratch on the top(same as when I moved in), cabinet doors that were painted and never correctly aligned(so I couldn't even position them correctly or the non-painted surface would show), a cracked crisper drawer in the refrigerator(which I lived with for three years), on top of that my place was robbed(over $6000.00 of my property was taken, and when I wanted to change my dead bolt I was told I couldn't--because they would have to ask me to enter and that they wouldn't agree with!!!!!! So I lived there, took care of the place and was charged almost half of my deposit for the repairs that should have been made when I moved in. Trust me they don't maintain the place--the person who moved out before you- pays for the maintenance. FYI-- my wife owns a well established cleaning business--and we were charged for stove and carpet cleaning(after our place was professionally cleaned), also charged $70.00 for key's that we returned. I think a lot has to do with the fact that we moved out of state and they know we wouldn't come back to fight with them. You would be better off renting in North village apt. It is located in the same area.
