The superintendant is very nice and gets the repairs done - if it's one he can do; however the manager Marina is curt and unpleasant. When my last repair was done (4 weeks after reporting) - it was done poorly. Also, they came into the apartment without notifying me -- I'm hoping nothings missing.

Parking is a problem - even though you pay for a parking spot. The Management does nothing to discourage the problem - and in fact is guilty of blocking the entrance - Marina and her big Lincoln SUV - making it impossible to load & unload -- even though this is a fire zone.

For the money and the convenience to public transit -it's okay. The neighbor's are okay -- although there are large families living in what are 1 Bdrm and Studio Apartments. So there are frequent fire alarms due to folks smoking near the hallways and cooking on the tiny stoves that have no exhaust fans. It's not uncommon to be awaken at 3 AM due to a fire alarm.

Although pets are not allowed - there are many tenants who have multiple pets. The pets aren't the problem - the smokers are. The hallways and entry way reeks of cigarette smoke. There are children's bicycles that often block the stairwells - making it unsafe in the event there ever is a fire.

Hot water is a problem after 9 AM - but that's included in the rent as well as heat. No airconditioning - so be prepared to spend $$$ on cooling in Summer.

I've lived in worse apartments and I've lived in better. For now and considering the ease of the commute, I'd rate it a C- or D .

The new superntendant actually breaks more things than fixes -- actually stripped the threads on the faucet & then a professional plumbr had to be called out ! Yikes... I really miss the former super - he at least would stand up to the Management when they wouldn't trim the trees - resulting in a tenant's car being damaged during a storm... and now thefts a problem too - mail, packages and even windshield wiper blades - YIKES - run, run ...run!!! I back up this review 100 percent!!!
