A tenant here for 38 years, this complex is beautifully located and well-maintained. The 1940s era brick buildings require good maintenance and receive the care they need. In the last few years, most buildings have new roofs and new windows. Management is in the process of installing new doors. New landscaping and additional parking lots were nicely integrated into the park-like setting. Management has kept my kitchen up-to-date and deals effectively with the aging plumbing. The heating system is continuously maintained and new equipment is installed as needed. Heat and hot water are included in the rent. Cable television, phone and Internet service is available from Cablevision and Verizon. The complex is pet-friendly. Many tenants plant flowers near their front doors in the spring and summer. The office staff is friendly. The neighbors are also friendly. Memorial Park is adjacent to the property and the Third River gurgles by for the length of the complex. Location, location, location' I hit the jackpot here in terms of location.
The units have hardwood floors. There are no dishwashers or laundry pairs in the units. Window air conditioners are required and supplied by the tenants. The rent is reasonable. The bathrooms are decent, but not modern. Closet space is okay. Electrical outlets are upgraded when brought to the attention of management.
The area is quiet. Access to Nutley's wonderful restaurants, the supermarket, the excellent public library, banks, community events and celebrations is all within a short walk. The culture of the town is "small town America" in the midst of this very metropolitan area. The schools do a good job of preparing kids for college. I raised two kids here who found their first two years at college very easy because they were well-prepared. The township management is conservative. The police are effective. The recreation department is dynamic and provides activities for all ages.

Not for nothing, but your review sounds like a brochure for the apartments. So you are either a Landlord, owner or someone in need of a hobby.
