I've been living at Middlebrook since June 2003, and love it. I have looked at several places and for the money and the amount of space- this is a great apt. When I moved it, I liked how the office gave you a choice to which apt you got to chose. They showed me 3 and I didn't like them and then they showed me a 4th and it was the apt I picked.(on the 2fl) It was completely redone. New kitchen (I took the tags off the stove and refrig) new windows, new AC, all new bathroom fixtures, baseboard, and beautiful hardwood floors. I was happy! In the last year I had a baby and now need a 2 br apt with washer and dryer in unit. I've looked at several other apt and houses in the area and I must say I am not impressed. I do not want to downgrade to older unit or house. Everything I compare to Middlebrook, and Middlebrook has a lot to offer. I would recommend this complex to anyone. Just make sure that you get an upgraded unit. The older units do need to be updated. As far as the maintenance, they do come right away for emergency. If its something else, then you do have to call at least 2x to have it fixed. But everything else is Great!! It is much better than Cont. Gardens and West Park Manor (I have friends in both and they love my apt better!). Middlebrook is much bigger and nicer! I never had any problems with neighbors- its quiet in my building and the surrounding buildings. If you want a nice afforable apt, come here!
