This was my first apartment and in the ten years that I have lived here it has been a pretty good experience. Maintanence has always responded promptly to my complaints and there repairs were adequate. I have never had a problem with any of the staff and they even offered me a month extension after my lease expired. Middlebrook is a much better choice over Twinbrook and Continental apartments.
My only complaint is that the walls and floor are pretty thin and you can hear your neighbors noise. Definetly get an upgraded apartment because the older apartments are pretty bad - windows drafty, heat not good, ac leaky. Be careful about the low lying areas because during heavy rain there is flooding.
