I've had my issues over the years, but Glenwood is not a one-star, horrible complex. When you know more about other complexes in neighboring towns, you realize how acceptable it is. Yes the construction isn't the most solid or updated and you may have to be persistent to take care of bigger issues, but the upkept and responsiveness of maintenance is decent. I have good neighbors and don't have a noise issues. I am dismayed that many more dogs--some of them too big for an apartment--are left outside to bark. This did not happen in my earlier years. And when I spoke with a state inspector a few years ago about an issue I was having and how to rectify it, he told me that while there are some citations or tenant issues at Glenwood, they were much better at taking care of them than other Old Bridge complexes. Believe me, if I had noise, safety or maintenance issues that were dealbreakers, I would have moved. But tread carefully because you don't want to end up in some complexes that really deserve one star.
