Very Satisfied

The one-bedroom I have has plenty of space and a ton of closet space. There's a walk-in in both the living room and bedroom, plus a huge linen closet, plus a closet embedded in the bathroom. The bathroom is very nice and has a ton of space. The kitchen is pretty small but it looks very nice--new cabinets and dishwasher, older stove and fridge. The facing of the cabinets is a little flimsy but looks very nice nonetheless. The hardwood floors are only average but you need to put area rugs down anyway per the lease. There is a nice patio space in the back, central a/c & heat from 1 thermostat, friendly numbers, and a tremendous location. You're close to route 9, route 18, the parkway, the turnpike, route 1...you name it...and there are lots of great shopping areas around. You're close to 2 NY Sports Clubs, 3 food stores, 2 banks, a 7-11, and anything else you need. The buildings in the complex are a bit old, but the asthetic beauty of the complex is excellent compared to any other complexes in the Old Bridge area or even the Central NJ area. There are no soundproofing problems as some have alluded to; I live on the first floor and have had exactly ZERO problems with my upstairs neighbors. And the rent is on par with other complexes. And because the complex is so huge, there is always tons of parking right outside your door and if your neighbors have filled up those spots there are plenty more in the vicinity; you will never have to park on the street or search for a space. My complaints would be: 1) the lack of washer/dryer in the unit, 2) the cheap facing of the kitchen cabinets, 3) the fact that there is almost TOO much closet space that could have been used for something else, 4) the fact that digital cable is unavailable in the area, and 5) traffic on 516 on the weekends can get pretty bad.
