my husband and i just got married and moved in to glenwood. what a mistake!! we live in an upstairs apartment and the floors are crap. so we had good carpeting and padding put in to be considerate of our neighbors downstairs. we hear every word, laugh, tv program, SEXUAL EXPERIENCES this neighbor does. and to make matters worse, they have two kids which run and jump rope and scream at all hours of the morning on the weekends. they run and jump so much and so loud and hard, that things have fallen off shelves and walls, and that coming from the downstairs!! i have complained many many times, (in person and in writing) and the ungodly rude people in the office do a big fat nothing. it is clearly stated in the lease that all tenants must have 80% carpeting in their apartment but they do nothing. people blare their base radios with no thought to the people around them. if you let them, the doors slam so loud and hard that the walls shake and things have actually fallen off of the walls in my upstairs apartment. maintenance never comes and they hang up on you when you call. we have a 1-br and our a-c bill in the summer gets up to about $400 or so because the unit it so old and we only ever set it around 70-74 and up to 80 when we are not at home. we have been here for 2 years and we can't wait to move out. if you make the sad mistake to move here, take pictures of everything because they will try to screw you out of your security deposit and be present when they inspect the apartment. good luck.

I moved into Glenwood in Aug 2006, and I can tell you I am getting out of my lease. The floors squeak, you hear everything and I mean 'EVERYTHING' - if you complain, Nothing gets done. I'm up all night long because of the noise from the people upstairs. I am so sorry I moved here. I am happy to break my lease and move on. I hope to be moving out at the end of Jan. I'm fed up, Nothing gets done, I mean NOTHING!! DO NOT MOVE INTO GLENWOOD...I REPEAT DO NOT MOVE INTO GLENWOOD!!! Pass the sign right up that you see on 516 and Route 9.
