I have lived in Glenwood for the past 3 months and I can say, so far so good. I really don't understand this whole noise complaint....maybe because I live on the 2nd floor. I can say if my roommate and I have heard any type of outside noise it's been maybe one day and in no way did it affect our sleeping patterns. I like the way the rooms are constructed.
My only complaints would be that it is VERY poorly lit outside, there needs to be more street lights...also there is not a serious bug problem but we have an abundant amount of house flies in the house and had a bit of an ant problem...however maintenance was very prompt in resolving the problem...we no longer have an ant problem...there are still flies and some spiders but I guess that comes with the summer months. There are NO roaches so that is a BIG plus. The other bugs are just an inconvenience but not a deal breaker to move in or not move in. And I agree with another person about the pool, a lot of places the use of the pool is free...it is not free at Glenwood.
Overall I am happy and believe these are the things one might complain about the most...but these are not serious problems, just inconvenieces if anything at all.
As far as the sleep, this is the place to come to catch up on your sleep if you ask me.
